Fine Arts at PG电子游戏

Music

The music program at PG电子游戏 includes students from preschool-12th grade. General music classes are scheduled for preschool through eighth grade, a 4th and 5th grade choir gives students an introduction to performing as a group, middle school and high school choirs are offered as options, and our high school select choir, IHL (In His Likeness), gives ninth through twelfth graders the opportunity to minister in local churches and perform in competitions. Music electives are available in middle school and high school. Student-led worship teams are formed each school year.

The PG电子游戏 Music Conservatory offers private lessons in piano and voice as well as band instruments and string instruments. If you are interested in lessons, please fill out our form.  A PG电子游戏 band which also includes some stringed instruments performs several times a year.

The music program is about so much more than music. We know that "every good and perfect gift comes from above", and the musical gifts and abilities God has given each of us is no exception! Above all, the music program seeks to train each student to pursue excellence in their musicianship and skills so that they can worship and glorify God to the best of their God-given abilities.

Drama

Drama

What can be more exciting than opening night - the audience, the lights, the costumes?  The excitement of presenting the result of months of hard work to an appreciative crowd is like nothing else.  Students at PG电子游戏 have opportunities to be involved in both plays and musicals.  A group of staff and parents supports the students in their dramatic endeavors.

See the plays and musicals we have done.

Visual Arts

All students in kindergarten through eighth grade are instructed in art.   The basics of line, color, shape, texture, value, and space are taught and built upon throughout the grades.  Students are given the opportunity to experiment in many different artistic media to learn these fundamentals of art.

In addition to regular art classes, middle school and high school students have the option to take art electives each trimester.  Choices may include selections such as drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics.

High school students may also opt to work on the school yearbook and in doing so learn and develop skills in computer layout and design.

Each spring the school presents an Evening of Science and Arts which highlights artwork from all students as well as musical presentations and science projects.
